For over a decade, NOPF has operated on a shoestring budget relative to other festivals of its size. Yet unlike other literary conferences, we are free and open to the public, and offer affordable prices for tables at the small press fair. In short, we will gladly pick up every dollar you throw at us and put it to good use.

Absolutely. The New Orleans Poetry Festival, Inc., is a 501C3 nonprofit corporation. All donations are tax deductible.

In broad terms, all donations assist us toward our annual festival budget. This includes stipends, travel, and lodging for international and headliner poets, rental spaces and venue fees, and food/drink for various festival events.
